Olympic style spirit…

With the Summer 2012 Olympic games underway in London, I’m feeling sartorially sporty chic –to jump into the spirit. Though I’m not digging the classic game, nor the national uniforms, per se. I’ve become infatuated with this season’s designer gear that bridges the gap between runway and running track. While Alexander Wang kicks off this season’s sporty-luxe trend with royal-blue slub-French terry pants, Reed Krakoff stays ahead of the fashion pack with his latest gym bag that’s perfect for accessorizing work and weekend looks too!

Chanel Outstanding Pieces: Fall/Winter 2012-13 Pre-Collection

Chanel launches an exclusive Outstanding Pieces collection devoted to one-of-a-kind, limited edition leather goods every season. The Outstanding Pieces Fall/Winter 2012-13 Pre-Collection handbags and wallets are no exception. With rich red, mustard and burnt tone accessories to spice up your look in the fall, Chanel’s winter inspired bag and pouchette with classic quilted embellishments will sparkle in the cold. While the autumn hues are crafted with lizard and alligator, the others are created with calfskin and adorned with strass for an exotic edge that’s timeless and indefinitely outstanding!

Staying Flat

I’m somewhat of a heel connoisseur. But sometimes I’m just in the mood for staying comfy on my feet, while on the constant go. But I’ll never sacrifice style in the name of comfort. When I’m talking comfort, I’m thinking about curating ensembles with flats, a top and shorts for an ultra chic composition that renders a high fashion inspired look! While Jimmy Choo’s glitter-dusted sneakers prove that you can stay flat on your feet without giving-up glamour, Vionnet’s sleeveless  jacquard top will help keep you in style with an exquisite floral motif. Overall, both looks are versatile and will keep you in style from day to night without layers or pain in heels!

Cardboard Couture….

Sculptor, Tom Sachs is renown for engineering one-of-a-kind recreations of various cultural symbols. I particularly admire his untraditional use of cardboard to construct couture label creations like the Hermés Value Meal and Chanel Chain Saw, which portray the brands in a whole new light!
